HEROES OF NEWERTH
A newly released Multiplayer Online Battle Arena game which is heavily based on the on the Warcraft III scenario, Defense of the Ancients, boasting on tons of improvement over the original mod such as way better graphics, VoIP which is similar to ventrilo or teamspeak, no leavers, and best of all they’re using a stand alone engine.
On August 22, 2009, pre-selling of Heroes of Newerth began for the beta members. This includes name reservation and as well as additional beta keys.

The main designer of the popular scenario map, Defense of the Ancients or commonly known as DotA, Steve “Guinsoo” Feak is also involved in the making of the League of Legends.
